Operations Finance Manager

Our client is seeking an Operations Finance Manager who is ambitious and influential to join their North American Operations Finance team who will be responsible for overseeing the development and performance management of various North American Plant Controllers and two Operations Finance Analysts. This position is accountable for providing financial support to the Operations team by providing insightful financial analysis of plant and business operating costs, cash flow analysis, capital investments, and other business-critical information. This role will follow a hybrid work model and necessitate up to 10% travel. Here are some reasons why you should apply:

Responsibilities:

  • Providing coaching and guidance to your direct reports on performance and goal setting.

  • Monitoring financial performance against forecast, budget, and prior year.

  • Identifying cost reductions and productivity improvements within manufacturing sites.

  • Performing ad hoc analysis within Operations and with other support functions.

  • Supporting the annual planning process as the finance partner for the Operations teams.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Have technical skills and experience in GAAP accounting, financial modeling, and financial analysis concepts.

  • Be able to provide analysis in a variety of formats, including written reports and formal presentations.

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point.

  • Cost Accounting experience is highly preferred.
